LIBRARY NEWS

The Greeley County Library will change to fall (aka school term) hours on Monday, August 21.  See you at 9:30 a.m. on Monday!

On Friday, August 25 from 10:00 a.m. till 2:00 p.m. we will have a craft day for all ages. We will have a Paint A Rock day for everyone to paint an inspirational rock for our staff to hide around town. People are then encouraged to bring the rocks in to the library to be logged and hidden again.

The next Adult Book Club meeting is set for Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at 5:30 p.m.  The book is Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger.

  See you at the Library!

Front Room Facelift

We have updated our front room. First we added bistro tables and upholstered stools. Then we added a slat wall feature where we can display various items and change the display periodically. We installed a TV which we tune to a news or weather channel. Most recently we changed our magazine display to the front room. Stop in to check out (pun intended!) what’s new!

Build a Better World – Summer Reading 2017

We have concluded our Summer Reading 2017 with the theme Build a Better World! Thank you to all the participants. Congratulations to those who turned in Bingo cards for prizes and pages read for prize drawings. Several of our older readers were able to earn more than one 500-page “bridge span” on our Reading Bridge during July. Keep on reading, and we’ll see you at the library!
