The State Library of Kansas has added a new science resource, Today’s Science, to the Student Research page of their website. Free resources on this page work by verifying your Kansas internet provider address. Look for a link on our website to go directly to Today’s Science.
Our Summer Library Program, Imagine Your Story, has ended. Participants who read for Challenge Tags can turn in their book logs for tags if they have not yet done so. Those using the Reader Zone app can come in for their tags as well, since we have already checked their progress online. Thank you to all who participated!
The library is currently on Summer Hours. At this time adult computers are available for patron use, as are 3 of our kids’ computers. Video games will remain off for now, and toys will remain put away. We have a lot of new books and movies you and your family will enjoy, so see you at the library!
Want to see what books or authors we have in our library?
Our library has an online card catalog which you can use with handheld devices such as tablets and phones, as well as laptops and other computers. The URL is:
The link is not active in this post so you can more easily copy & paste. If you would like to use a link instead, on the home page of our site you can find an active link on Search the Catalog about halfway down the left side of the page under Handy Links. Once you are at the site you can add an icon to your home screen on an Iphone or Android phone for future use.
You can search the catalog without your library card number, but for other functions such as seeing what you have checked out, making lists, etc. you will need to sign in with your library card number and last name. If you don’t remember your library card number, give us a call, we’ll be happy to help you out!
Cloud Library is a free ebook app available to patrons through the State Library of Kansas. It gives you access to a wide variety of books for both adults and children. There are also a few audiobook titles available on the site. If you don’t yet have the app, call the library and we’ll be happy to help you get started!
