January in the Greeley County Library

January will keep the librarians busy! We have several school classes scheduled to come in to check out books. We also read a story to the elementary classes when they come in for books.

The librarians will be attending several training sessions throughout the month via Zoom. This helps us keep up-to-date on various technologies and tools we use as librarians.

We are also proud of our Director, Ronna Schmidt, who is 2nd Vice Chair of the Executive Committee of our consortium of libraries, the Southwest Kansas Library System. She will be attending the January meeting in Dodge City. Some meetings throughout the year will be via Zoom and some in person. Ronna is a great advocate for our library!
